Hello!! I want to move to El Salvador, are there jobs overthere?

I'm an LPN (licenced practitioner nurse) student in USA, I have to go to El Salvador after I graduate,for a family situation, but I would love to move over there. The thing is that I need to work, and would like to do it in my major. Do u guys think there's a posibility??? I know that over there, there different kinds of nurses but there's no such thing as LPN, or I dont know, HELP ME PLEASE!!!! :) thanx!!!!!

  1. It's great that you have citizenship in El Salvador. You're like everyone there. But wages are low, though you should be fine working in your major. You could start a business down there if there are no LPN's. But doing so may be harder for you depending on where you live.

If you are not a citizen of El Salvador, you will need a work visa.   Usually work visas are difficult to get.  Wages in El Salvador are very low.  Do you speak Spanish?  You need to learn about work and residence visas in El Salvador.  Go to the site  below and choose the consulate nearest to you.  then you will need to contact that consulate to get visa information.

  3. I am from El Salvador and to tell you the truth you will not have any problems to get a job in El Salvador if you already have a degree.  The pay is not like the USA, but you will make good money even in El Salvador because of your degree or major.  I am a male nurse and from El Salvador and I plan to volunteer to go to Africa and just like any country.  You should be fine with your major because it opens a lot of doors.  Suerte cipota/cipote
