you will have to have a press, like with sugar cane, and then heat to break the Sergio juice  down in to a syrup. Sorghum as a cattle feed is cut and choped, allowed to ferment in pits or silos, and called fodder or sweet sorghum, and then fed out to the cattle, you never feed fermented feeds to horses. molasses is one of the stages in making sugar
