I suggest you to go to Madikeri (Coorg district). Coorg is Scotland of arnataka. its about 250 km from Bangalore. KSTRC buses regularly ply to Madikeri.

Close to  Bangalore Bheemeshwari camp, Nandi Hills, Shrinivasmundaram, Mysore and in Kerala Munnar, Kumarakom are best, i would suggest you to check out good and reputated sites like makemytrip.com you will find all the weekend option there, i have sorted out few for you, check out yourself you might find it useful
