Hello all i am about to apply for a permit to acquire does anyone know what the time limit is after i get it?

I am wanting to acquire 3 guns in total and want to put just 1 permit to acquire in i cant afford all 3 at once so I'm wondering if there is a time limit on the permit to acquire thanks in advance. I live in victoria if this helps.

yes there is you have 28days to you have to send away for another one.

You would just have to redo all your paperwork again, depending on the state you might need to get another permit alltogehter

After you get it you have 5 years to get one.  However I think you can only get 1 gun on 1 permit.

Ay mate it takes 28 days to come back once the firearms registry recieves it and you have 90 days in which to purchase your firearm that's in NSW anyway so it can't be much different down there

I think if all 3 firearms are on the one permit, you have to get them all at once. Im not 100% sure but I think it may be the case.
