  1. I heartily second the answer above.  I've known of many Muslim graduates from Harvard's Med school, and currently there is a great need of those with Arabic in languages.  By all means apply.

  2. I am a Muslim female and trust me, you will be fine at Harvard, they have fairly big Muslim and Arab population. My cousin is Arab and actually graduated from Harvard 3 years ago. She never had any trouble, the students were friendly and she have a great time

Heres some info from their mission statement:

The Harvard International Office (HIO) is part of Central Administration of Harvard University and offers services to foreign students and scholars at Harvard College and the ten graduate or professional schools, as well as the numerous research centers and affiliated teaching hospitals. It provides information on a wide range of topics, including visas (work permits, travel), financial questions, social and cultural differences, and personal concerns. If you are interested in receiving information about admission requirements for Harvard University , please contact the appropriate office admissions. There is no single office at the university that handles admissions for all students to all programs. Instead, each school maintains its own admissions office and specialized staff to meet the needs of their prospective students.

Good Luck, take care and don't let peoples dumb comments discourage you! You'll do just fine!

  3. Yes. Harvard will have a number of students from different each year. They want this so that their students get a chance to meet people from other places.

You must have good grades, but that is not what will get you in. The way they choose students is complicated, but they go by a lot more than grades.

Harvard actually tried to go by grades and test scores alone for a while and it did not go well.

One other thing, Harvard is great, I would have loved to go there. But it is not the best college for all fields. It depends on what you want to study. Remember, not all colleges even offer all majors!

  4. Of course you can, but you must keep in mind that it is nearly impossible to get in. I know of someone who was valedictorian of his class in one of the best highschools around, who was heavily involved with sports, and still got rejected.

  5. nope we don't like foreigners here in america unless they are from another native english speaking country like australia or england..you other muslim/indian mother ******* can stay in your own country
