hello . i was wondering if i dont eat anything for 2 days and just have chocolate milk but only like 3 glasses a day will i lose weight? because i need to lose a lil just temporarily for saturday. i once didnt eat for 2 days and lost 4 pds but i had coffee i want to use chocolate milk instead bc coffee made me sick....thank you for ur thoughts

  2. You'll drop some water weight, slow down your metabolism, lose about 2 lbs on the scale and gain back three when you eat normally. All around, a stupid way to try and lose weight.. doesn't work.

  3. thats very unhealthy... you will throw off your glucose/insulin balance.  even if you lose another 4 pounds no one will even notice

  4. Where to begin.  First that is just not healthy.  Second, Coffee is a diuretic so you lost 4 lbs of water weight and probably a little muscle.  You are eating too little so your body goes into starvation mode, eating muscle, holding on to fat.

    Just drinking Chocolate milk will not give you the nutrients your body needs, in addition it will cause your body to store the fat and sugar while again eating your muscle tissue.

    If you need to lose a few pounds, just workout and eat healthy.

    Pick up copies of Body for Life by Bill Phillips and Ultra-Metabolism by Dr. Mark Hyman.

  5. Honestly, that is one of the worst ways to lose weight. Sure, you'll lose the few pounds you wanted off, but as soon as you eat food again your metabolism will be so slow you'll gain back all the weight (if not more) that you started with.

  6. hey, i fast on a regular basis, and 2 days doesn't do much. the least i will do is 3-4 and even that is very very little. you should just do plain old water fasting, it will help clean you out, and yes you will lose mostly water weight, but by day 2 you start burning fat. you should let your body continue that process a little longer. coffee and chocolate milk will slow down that process. and don't listen to the people here as i'm almost positive none of them have experienced fasting, i usually gain back less than half of what i lost when i'm eating normally again. :)

  7. the scale may change but thats about it. Even if you do lose the 4lbs, it wont be a noticeable weight loss, b/c your not losing actual body fat. Its pointless, your pants will still fit the same♥
