  1. Ông Jon, your visa price is for non-vietnamese. :) you pay double.

Vietnam always issue 3 or 6 months visa for their people (REGULAR visa)

1 month visa's usually for LANDING/EMERGENCY visa. this will cost double 2.

Embassy serves travel agencies FASTER.. therefore most Vietnamese who wanna SAVE their time n troubles going throu the embassy will go to their travel agent.

  2. For the exact price, email your local embassy or, if you have one, call your local Vietnamese Travel Agency and ask.  Most Vietnamese Travel Agencies can apply for you and it is faster, as they fax in the information.  cheers c

  3. I got one for Vietnam in thailand, it cost about £30

  4. I came to Vietnam from Southamerica and experienced the same difficulties.

Now I realize the easiest way is using the services of a  travel agency.

The cost for one month is around $ 60.

    Good luck!

  5. The cheapest one is from $30 for Single entry visa.

    Happy traveling

  6. $35 to 50.......depend if u want single entry or unlimited.......

  7. from the usa, $65.. anyway thats what i just paid...

  8. It around $50.  If you buy ticket from a Vietnamese travel agency, it is included, no extra cost.  Good luck and have fun

  9. Hi,

In the USA - ditto - just paid $65 a month ago.

I think varies from country to country.  I don't know why.

  10. The price depends on which country the VN embassy is located.

  11. From England you send a postal order for 43 pounds, this is 38 for the visa and 5 to come back recorded mail.{do not send a check].include in your application your passport a passport size photo and a self addressed envelope,it will take about 10 days.

  12. You have to call or e-mail the embassy, the reason they don't list any visa prices is because of currency fluctuations, so their prices are always changing slightly. Since you said they don't answer the phone, try e-mailing them, I paid around $50 from the Vietnamese Embassy in Bangkok for a standard waiting time (4 days) visa, and about $75 for an expedited visa (1 day) the last time I went. Good luck.

  13. Loads of info on the embassy website.

An entry visa to Vietnam can be applied BY POST or IN PERSON (by the applicant or anyone on his/her behalf) at the Embassy.

Except for those who choose the Same Day Express Service (Short-stay) must lodge the application at the Embassy, it is strongly advised that all other applicants to apply BY POST to avoid the queue.

    A tourist permit can cost between £38 for a single-entry document and £70 for a multiple-entry permit.
