I am planning to become a Bachelor Nurse in Adelphi University, which is 4 years degree. After Bachelor Nurse I am thinking on applying to a medical school to become a doctor. I have found that in order to get to a medical school i need to take the premed first. I also have found that in Bachelor in Nursing I will take Chemistry 1 and 2 with a lab which is a year and Anatomy and Physiology 1 and 2 with a lab which are Biology 10 and 11. And it means that for the premed I will already will have one year of Chemistry and one year of Biology. Am I right? What do you think? After Bachelor of Nursing I want to go to a community college or to another college for one more year in order to finish all of the premed, which are one year on another Chemistry, one year of Physics, Calculus, and etc., and then to apply to a medical school. What do you think? Will it work? I am 18 years old male and going to a community college right now and live in Brooklyn, NY. Will medical schools accept one year of Chemistry with a lab and Anatomy and Physiology with a lab which is Biology 10 and 11 from Bachelor in Nursing? Thank You.

  1. I really don't know.  But wow!  I hope you do it.

  2.    Your science and biology will transfer from the four year university to the pre med school, but you are doing it backwards.  You should get all of the premed stuff done at the community college and then transfer all of it to the four year university where you are getting your BSN.
