Hello everyone! I am a going to be a senior this year. I plan on going to community college for nursing.?

My gpa is not very good right now. So will this effect me? Or do they go by your gpa in college and not your high school gpa? Please help me im very confused!!! Also how do they choose the people that get accepted into the nursing program?

I would suggest you call your community college of choice & ask what's required. This way you can check things off as you go thru your senior year of HS & you'll be sure to select the necessary courses once you enroll in college. Nursing is a great choice! They are in high demand right now & there will always be a need for them. You are pretty much guaranteed employment upon graduation with a healthy starting salary! Win, win!!
