Hello everyone i need help is this a scam or not on ebid.net

Question

its a dell xps 730 very cheap i thought something was dodgy so i posted a question on here earlier saying is it a scam and the answer was if he replies to some messages you send it should be alright so i said to him is it a scam,and that i didnt want to be ripped off,he replied saying>no mate its real,i buy them cheap and sell them cheap.the next question i said to him was how do i pay and he said paypal,or pppay and that i can pick it up he sais its new .please help can i trust this guy? If you can collect it, it should be fine, just dont go on your own.

If you pay by PayPal you do have protection. They are probably genuine as he appears to be dealing in a number of computer related items BUT he has no feedback even though an eBid member for over 2 years (he might have been a buyer and this is his first sell).

best thing is to ask him what is the difference between one from dell and that one. If he say nothing its still classed as a verbal contract, if you pay via paypal your covered.

It's a bidding site. I wouldn't trust personally. But at the end of the day it's your choice!

Hi the only way i would buy this is to collect it and try it in front of the seller. I never trust anyone with less than 10 good feedbacks.If he is using paypal it should be ok , but be carefull.

PayPal won't let this guy rip you off, and if he's been ebid for two years ebid would have kicked him off by now if he was doing anything illegal.

Just make sure you know exactly what you are buying (i.e.) that it's not an eBook about dells or it not just the picture you are paying for. Yeah I know it sounds crazy but thousands of people have fallen for those kinds of tricks
