Hello friends. its about organic chemistry

see people what is best way to remember the organic reactions so that ican answer and score how twisted the question may be

i am a 12 science student

--Practice writing them many times

  and after you finish a few pages revise them try writing a test on  that    portion

Divide each chapter into 4 pages a day read very little, practice a lot.

The next day before starting the next four pages , refresh what you read the day before

At weekends, revise what you have read in the week

I feel organic chemistry is best learnt when you divide the chapters in small bits or one topic a day.

Some feel that there should be a comparitive study like the same reaction with different compounds.

But I think that should be done when you finish reading all your chapters.

See there's no method to do that but what i did in my time is to read org chem just like maths .First of all ur basic concepts must be clear like nomenclature , resonance, electrophiles etc.

Then make a notebook in which u can write all the important reactions and its brief description like reactants/reagents/conditions etc.

The most imp. rxns are Named rxns. Like Clemmensen reduction, Aldol Condensation, these are asked both in boards and competition
