  1. Galway is one of the best places to stay, go out to Connemara and enjoy the wonderful landscape.

There should be lots of "talent" (nice looking young ones of both sexes) around, Galway is a University city after all and has loads of lovely pubs.

I too would recommend to take a tour along the South West coast, seeing Killarney and Cork, or a boat trip on the Shannon, or else the less expensive CIE tour.

If you have plenty of time, come up to Donegal and look at it before it is totally covered in holiday houses.

  2. the handsome chaps my dear are in donegal . and its official. we have the sexiest accentr in the world.

take the cie tour and go with the flow and your natural instincts, it will take you where you need to be.

  3. I am un-sure but it is an AMAZING place!

  4. Take one of the CIE Tours! We did it twice, they have several different  variations!  Although we landed in Dublin and drove cross country to Shannon for a few days!  WOW!!!!!!! It's great!  Watch out for the country side pubs,  you'll be  fully fed and snockered!  HAVE FUN!

PS_Please do the Ring of Kerry and the Cliffs of Moher!  Take lots of Pics.  Great Fish & Chips at Skully Seaport!

  5. first of all, i wouldn't call Galway a city!! when you get there you'll see what i mean!!! i think Kerry is the most beautiful part of Ireland, even though i'm from Cork!! all the Americans seem to go there anyway when they come! as for the handsom chaps.....!!  i hope you enjoy your holiday though!!:)

  6. galway has the best of both worlds. the city has great music pubs and restaurants and the countryside and Aran Islands have beautiful scenery. Dublin is the big culture spot, with great bars and restaurants too, museums, galleries guinness factory and is close to the sea too if you like to go there for a day. Wicklow is a great place for scenery and gardens and has the advantage of being close to Dublin, so you can visit it in a day. Visit co. clare too. Cliffs of moher and Burren. Consult the tourist offices. Travelling, I would suggest you stay in hostels or B&Bs to save money as it is an expensive country. have a great time.

  7. Galway City is super fun! great for young or old plenty of young single guys and if you can find one that will sing you a lovely Irish song, grab him and dont let go!

  8. Dublin is the place to go it's great and there are lots of lush guys there!! x

  9. Come to Clonakilty, it's famous for it's bars and is featured on the Heinekan Christmas ad. Great beaches and an excellent spa.

Very tourists orientated. Very Irish too.

Hope to see you here sometime, but Galways o.k too.

  10. dont listen 2 dat fekr litlpoo. dere her in athlone! stay her wer u cn c scenic Lough Ree nd Europes talest crane nd more! many b&b's go 2 www.athlone.ie 4 mor info

  11. How about starting off in Galway, and then tour the west coast ending up in kerry and finally cork ?  If you can drive even better! There are thousands of B&Bs! http://www.ireland.ie will help you plan your trip.  :) Hope you have a good time!  You might meet a handsome "chap" down the pub! ;)

  12. try London UK

it's as close as you need to get

  13. they are all over here in england

  14. I think you should stay in the capital of Ireland Dublin as there is more to do and see in Dublin. You should go to the shops on Grafton and Henry street, go to a guiness brewery etc.  Oh and there are loads of handsome chaps in Dublin!

  15. yeah, galway is great!.. im afraid there are no hansome boys here... NONE!!!!!! bring some with you! :) go to kerry i love kerry, (killarney), donegal is a must these are places i love and i live here.. full of culture and also have great night life! enjoy!

avoid longford! i live there.. it sucks! :( YAWN

  16. Galway makes a fantastic base, from there you can go to the Aran Islands, down to the Burren in Clare, or maybe go North to Sligo and Donegal if you want to see fantastic scenery.  If you are into surfing or just want to see some fantastic beaches Sligo and Donegal are a good bet, although it will probably be a bit cold in Spring.  Galway probably has the best night life (its a really uni town) and is probably the easiest city to navigate because of its size.  There are a few hostels (one of them is called Sleepzone), and loads of B&Bs and Hotels and apartments to rent.  It should be easy enough to get somewhere in the city centre in Galway and then you won't have to brave the taxi queue at 4 a.m.  As for handsome men, after a few pints of guinness they will all look handsome!
