  1. People are friendly, lots of things to do, weather unreliable but there are tanning salons in tourist destinations. Doesn't hurt to cheat a bit.

  2. July is the middle of the rainy season in most of Mexico, so it will probably be cloudy for a good portion of the afternoon, although the mornings should be sunny and very hot.  The humidity along the coast in July is very high and I found the heat almost intolerable.  July is a good time to hit the mountain towns, where the weather is generally warm and less humid.

Mexico is loaded with things to do.  You should have no problem finding fun activities, although most people go to Mexico to do as little as possible.  Also, you will find most  Mexicans reserved, but a smile and a "buenos dias" will do wonders.  Have fun!

  3. Trust me, you'll get all the tan you can use.  I'm part Lebanese, so I NEVER burn....but after several days with no shirt on in northern Mexico in April, I burned extremely badly.

The people are very, very friendly...far more friendly than Americans.  That being said, there are some conditions...the local people are not your slaves.  Don't treat them like it.  Be kind, friendly, at least try to speak in Spanish, and show some respect for their country.  Don't try to cheat them, chances are they need that extra few bucks in a tip far more than you do.  If you treat them well, you won't regret it!!

  4. Im sure in July there will be plent-y of sun, lol. There will be lots of things to do....just dont drink the water................wait, I think thats only in TJ, haha. Enjoy!
