If you put your banking information on a hospital personal information page, yes, they possibly could.  If this happened to you I'd take a look at the personal page you filled out and check it closely.  I can see that there would be a clause to sign to allow them to if they asked for your bank account number.  You have to really read everything nowadays.

Do you mean if you don't pay the bill?  No, but they can turn you over to a collection agency.

absolutly, they'll take it any way you give it to them.  on the other hand if you don't give them consent, I'd say no at least till they get leagle matters involved.  gl

Not immediately. But if you incur some bills and for a long period of time do not pay them off, they can take you to court where if they win a judgment against you they can garnish your wages or get money out of your bank accounts. Such a process takes a long time and you would see it coming.

Hmm... not unless you gave the info to them and then signed something that gave them permission.  More then likely they would send you to a collection agency after several attempts to collect themselves.
