I have heard that I can not get an F1 visa, because my husband is a citizen of U.S.! Is that right?

  1. No, that is not necessarily true.   Visas are issued based on a totality of the facts and circumstances.

  2. If your husband is a US citizen, because he was born here, I guess you have a problem..

call your nearest embassy or US state dept and ask them...

  3. You can apply a couple of ways, but first he has to have his US passport. Then you need money and patience.

  4. You need to go to the American embassy and find out. Since you are married adn since he is a U.S. citizen, all of this is different.
