hello, i recived an email from [e-mail] in 11/jan/2008 that i was winner ,i have won money( Prize Promotion which is Organized by YAHOO AWARDS & WINDOWS LIVE).i must to send my information and my identification numbers to Agent Name: Mr. Leeton L. Smith in liverpool.

i sent to this.and then recived an email from mr Leeton L.Smith that i must( Please complete and send the application below immediately to the Operations Department of NW Bank Plc by E-mail and a copy to this E-mail.)and send form to NATIONWIDE BANK PLC.

really i want know is it right ?really i must to send my information and my account to them? please help me soon as soon, i dont have time for this matter. please answer me .

It sounds like a classic scam to me, so don't send them anything!  But if you're in any doubt at all, get in touch with Yahoo head office.  They should be informed anyway (there should be a 'contact us' button in your email account somwhere, or failing that, on yahoo.com).  Hope that helps.

If anything comes over the Internet that asks for your bank details name address personal bank numbers or says you have won money  a trip or what ever it is usually a scam, and honestly you would be foolish if you gave out that information, once they have that sort of information they can then take your identity and make you owe thousands of dollars all over the world, in my opinion I would delete it and forget about it if I were you, or you could be asking for a lot of trouble. just remember the old saying " if it is to good to be true it usually isn't ".
