  1. Have u had children before?

I only ask as u say your stomach is big already.

Im 11weeks 5days with #2 and im already showing.

My midwife tells me if u dont leave time between pregnancies u show alot earlier.

As far as the twins go and im not sure the only thing i can suggest is wait till your next scan and fingers crossed.

Hope it turns out to be twins for you :)

  2. It's *possible* but unlikley.  you'll find out when you next have an ultrasound.  You could be bloated, you could be gaining weight too fast - there's a bunch of things that make the belly pouch out early.

  3. Consult your physician.

    Plz. visit google search too.

  4. Anything is possible...but the chance of it happening is very slim but good luck!!

  5. Fraternal twins are genetic and are much more common. If there is no incidence in either family, the chances are rather slim.

Identical twins are an anomoly, a "freak of nature" if you will, and has nothing to do with genetics but are extremely rare.

I'm afraid you will have to take what God gives you and be happy.

  6. The reason it is so big is probably from bloating

  7. why do so many people want twins? i had identical twins and i love them to bits, i also had one child 13 mth before.  Let me tell you, as much fun as they are its not games and fun 24/7/  especialy in the last weeks of pregnancy.

i hope you have a great pregnancy and a healthy baby or two or three at the end

  8. Sweety, let me tell you having twins can be a blessing or a disaster.  My first pregnancy was twins and there are a lot more complications and things to deal with.  Plus if you're a first time mother one baby is going to be overwhelming enough for you, and as great as your husband may seem, most of the responsiblity is going to fall on you, there are certain things only mommy can do.  If your very big at only 11 weeks its probably just bloating because you shouldnt even be showing yet this early.  By the way, havn't you had an ultrasound yet? They will be able to tell as soon as they do the first scan whether its one or two.  And you should have the first scan while in your first trimester, which ends after 12 weeks, so get to a DR, and have it done.  Regular check ups are a must when pregnant, you must have blood drawn, urine checked, and other things to make sure everything is ok.

  9. Yes it's possible but less likely without a family history of twins.  Your babies would only be about 2 inches big and weigh less than an ounce each so your uterus would still not be large.  Are you scheduled for an appointment with the OB doctor for a scan/ultrasound yet?  If not, you need to get in and have that done.  Where I live they do a vaginal ultrasound with an internal wand at 10 weeks.  Some places do it at 12 weeks.  That is where you find out how many embryos are in there and can see/hear the heartbeat for the first time.  I was hoping for twins too, but no such luck either time.

  10. It is possible to have twins, but I would be willing to bet that your tummy being big is due to bloating. I had SO much bloating when I first got pregnant that I thought I was having triplets. The doctor assures me that there is only one in there...........Best of luck to you!

  11. Well I found out two weeks ago I was expecting fraternal twins. Approx 5yrs ago, I fell pregnant with twins also but lost them both. Now I don't have any twins in either side of the family but apparently have a twin gene which has been passed on. I can really only go back to my grandparents generation, but there are no twins there. Twice I've been blessed, I pray to god this time it works out for me. Oh and by the way, congratuations to you.

  12. it is not necessary that twins in family means birth of twins only

there is only increased chances to get twins

and twins pregnancy have more complication to mothers well as  babies .so it is good too have to healthy babies time apart.

and u have any doubt about pregnancy get Ultrasonography done.

you get definite answers to your questions

  13. There has been cases that people have twins or multiples without having it run in their family. I have twins on my side, and my husband does on his side so we were hoping really bad that we would have twins. I was measuring big at the beginning of my pregnancy too. Well we just have one little bean in there. Usually if there was multiples, your hcg on your blood work would of been high, and your pregnancy symptoms would be increased a bit more than the usual person.

  14. Billy The Kid is absolutely correct... Even further, Fraternal is actually inherited from you Mother.  If your dad's side had twins, it has nothing to do with you.  You inherit your uterus from your mom only.

Wish for one healthy baby, if God gives you two, then thank your lucky stars!

    Best Wishes!
