Wolfsburg turned down the inquiries made for their star striker and are hesitant to part ways with the 28-year-old prolific goalscorer.

depart, who they signed in 2011. The forward scored 13 times in 24 appearances for the German side.
Wolfsburg confirmed that they won’t be selling their coveted goalscorer under any circumstance and a transfer is unimaginable. The manager told that a few clubs have approached him and inquired about the striker but they have all
been disappointed by his response.
"We are not interested in transferring Patrick Helmes and a move is out of the question. It's a fact that we have been receiving enquiries for his services, but I have turned all of them down," Magath was quoted saying in an interview.
The Spanish giants, Valencia have also demonstrated their attraction towards Helmes and are firmly pursuing him to sign for the Mestalla. However, the frontman has declared that he does not want a transfer to the Spanish club.
Therefore, the attacker clarified that he will not be signing for Valencia by suggesting that the Valencia rumours are off no concern to him and he does not need to look into that speculation regarding his future.

Helmes has a fantastic club record amassing 104 goals in 208 appearances at a strike-rate of 0.5 goals per game.
