Question:

Helmets: ARAI Vector vs Quantum 2?

I just went to a store today and tried out a medium ARAI Quantum 2 but they did not have the Vector. Anyone know if they will fit similarly? I only ask because if I can pay about $200 less for the same fit I definitely want to do that.

I also tried a Shoei TZ-R and a RF-1000 and unfortunately the medium was too small and the large too big. Too bad cause they seem to be of excellent quality and price.

Anyway, any info on the fit of the 2 ARAIs above would be greatly appreciated. Also if you want to tell me why you would prefer one over the other, that would be great too.

  1. The Quantum 2 / E & F are all designed with racing in mind.

Its a very purposeful design. The Q [ ] fits a little deeper then most models on the market so it offer full rear neck support at high speed.

The Vector model is based on the older Q F model, with less venting for the front and the older style rear exhaust vents.

This model is based on road riding but still with the " sports " angle been looked at.

What type of bike do you ride, and what is your style of riding ?

email me, or send me a message, as I dont tend to looking in this section to offten.
