Help, AVG Scan didn't work?????

The scan finished and I am positive that it didn't work...The results overview show 300 warnings count, and 0 for everything else such as infections found, infections or objects removed or healed... HELP!!!!!...I am doing a scan with mcafree now.... everyone said AVG would work but it didnt....I need help immediately ... I need to get rid of these viruses...Any advice

you only need one anti virus for a single pc, if you have two or more, they will contradict each other and they will not work properly..

are you using the AVG free edition? I also have that, and it works fine on my end..

you can try to update your AVG which is also free, or uninstall and re install your AVG..

if you're not satisfied with AVG, try Avast, it's also free to download from the web, just google it..

if you have some budget and you believe that AVG either Avast is not working for your pc, you can buy a registered edition of anti virus from web or from your local computer store.
