Help, Diesel fuel stains?

Question

My partner has stained his nike air bottoms with diesel fuel?

I've washed it in the washing machine with soap powder, Ace beach, Vanish but still the stains are there?

I've washed them by hand in Domestos bleach but still no luck!

I'm out of ideas of what to do?

Can you help me to remove the stains?

I don't wanna throw them away the cost £70 and he's only worn them about 3 times.

Try white vinegar, it works on every thing esle!! But it bleach hasn't done it, then probably nothing will!!  :(

use wd 40 spray on to the stain then rub with damp cloth works a treat

Try parrafin or white spirit its good for these kind of stains!

Full strength liquid laundry detergent and a brush. Repeat as needed.  Stain gone, use Pine Sol or liquid Spc N Span to remove odor.

If color of item is ABSOLUTELY color fast and all else fails, bar of Lava soap, water & brush as last resort.  Test Lava on an inside seam to determine if color will stay or not before trying on visible side of item.

I dont know any thing that removes diesel stains and ive been a mechanic for 30 years so i know.Maybe you can diguise the stain i know they still make stuff to whiten trainers,presuming there white.

Since diesel is a petroleum product you need something with a degreasing agent.  I would try some 'greased lightening'  I perfer the orange powered one.  Then I would mix up some oxy clean with some water (don't use fingers) and apply to shoes.  Then wash as normal.

You mean you can afford to waste diesel like this , shame on you .
