Help, I have a question about the weather in Cancun?

We are going to Canune the 25th ot this month,I have been checking the weather on line everyday....and guess what rain,rain and more rain. Can anyone us if it is just moring rain or all day rain?

Even paradise needs rain to keep it green and clean!

Cancun has warm rain...you can still get out in it and it usually doesn't rain all day every day.

I live in downtown Cancun and work in the hotel zone...believe me life doesn't stop when it rains. Please forgive me for my bluntness...the weather should never "ruin" plans only you can do that...have a plan B. Go shopping, play board games at your hotel, go bowling at Plaza Kulkulcan, gamble at Plaza Las Americas, go for a walk on the beach, sit on the balcony of your room and read a book, sit in the lobby of your hotel and meet new people, practice your Spanish with the bartender...

Have a great vacation...no matter what the weather!

I've been to Cancun three times in different years. Only one day our plans were ruined because of a heavy thunderstorm, and we were to take a ferry to Cozumel ( a 45 min. trip by sea). We spent that day at the hotel but there were plenty of things to do in it so weren't bored.

Anyway, most of the times when they refer to rain, it's like if people did not care about it at all because it's not raining all day. Tourists wear their swimming suits or take a small umbrella, but nobody seems to let their vacations stop because of that. It rains for a little while and then it goes away.

Besides, it's a little premature to predict the weather for that particular week. Enjoy!
