Last saturday i had 2 bloody stools, first one more blood and second one alot less. THen later that night i got a fever and chills. Next morning i wake up, no fever and stuff, no blood in stool, but get fever and chills again. i go to the hospital and they take blood and urine tests and they say its normal. they ask for a stool sample and i cant provide it, so they send me home with the stuff. on wednesday i finally go back to the bathroom and no blood in stool, get sample take to doctors, not family doctor cuz shes on vacation. I come home, and later that night, i get 2 more bloody stools again. then on thursday afternoonish, i get chills and slight fever again, but tyleneol fixes it. go to doctors,he tells me to go to hospital for bloodwork and etc. i come home and have 2 more bloody stools. The pattern of my stools was liek this. 1-blody stool, 2- bloody stool, but alot less blood, 3-no blood. but my stool was not normal it was small and etc. now im waiting for my stool results to come back by tuesday and have an appointment with family doctor for wednesday but im wondering why im getting fever and chills liek this while i have bloody stools. and ive noticed that after the second bloody stool, i get fever and chills. and last night at 5am no fever, just chills so im really kidna scared and stuff, cuz doctors arent telling me anything, waiting on stool test and im just wondering wth is wrong with me. anyone with any info plz hlp. and also if you know what kind of foods should i eat too, thanks

  1. If the bloody stools are bright red? usually a broken hemorrhoid , a anal tear, or fissure is causing the problem

If a black tarry stool? its old blood from a higher up in the intestine or stomach bleed

  2. I had to have my stool tested for blood before and they knew within 5 minutes that it had blood in it, I was immediately sent into the hospital and stayed the night for observation, the next morning I had to go in for a upper GI. (which hurt like heck) for them to find that I had a slow upper bleed due to a bleeding ulcer.

I am not sure which kind of doctor you went to see or if you are making this up because they do not play games with blood in the stools.

Not matter what is causing it its serious.

    Edit:

ahhh free health care now I understand!! why they didn't have another doctor check you I don't know with free health care they really should have just given you to the next available person. if you start to feel faint, lose color or get dizzy run to your Emergency room and get immediate help.

sorry I forget that not all health care is the same.
