Help, I want my laptop not to be dependent of the charger.?

I have a dell Inspiron E1405 and i cant use it more than 5 minuted without having the charger hooked on. what can i do to have my computer last longer without using the charger?

dont worrie this is a common problem. to get this solved you first have to buy a new battery... the mistake that people would usually make is that they leave their laptop hooked up to the charger 24/7 and if you are doing this you got the wrong device....because once its done charging it should be removed from the charger...when it is left like this it severly weakends the better ion cells and therefore it leads up to the problem you currently have...
