  1. Get in touch with the police. Once you've spoken to them and hopefully got some good advice, you should then contact your internet service provider and ask them to change your IP address. If you don't feel like getting involved with the cops, go straight to your internet service provider.

DDOS attacks are very difficult to deal with for organisation which depend on their IP address. For a home user like yourself, all you need is another IP, and it'll probably go away.

On another note: are you sure you're being DDOSsed? Are you sure you don't have spyware/malware/trojans/virusses etc that are clogging your connection? Run ad aware, install zonealarm, and clean up your system, then see if the DDOS continues!

  2. Open your network settings and 'release' your IP address.  It will stop your internet access but you won't have an IP address to target!

After about a day or so, 'renew' it and hopefully you will end up with a different IP address.

    Good luck!

    :)

  3. Try disconnecting from the Internet

    EDIT

set McAfee firewall to lockdown mode

  4. Install a good firewall software like comodo firewall , it's free and it will block the attack from affecting the performance of your connection.

I suggest that you change McAfee total protection with more power full program.
