Okay so this is SO weird. I'm 16 and I still havn't gone on! But I am super skinny. Anyways, finally about 2 weeks ago, I noticed something. I bled a little. Then everytime I went pee, stuff would come out, even sometimes little chunks, but my mom says that's normal.

But then it just stopped the next day. Now I'm back where I started, have been for almost 2 weeks now. What is going on!?!?!?!

  1. Don't worry, you're all good! My friend is 15 and extremely thin and she still hasn't gotten her's. Your's is just slowly starting up, wait a few months and you should be getting your cycle on properly. Right now, it is just trying to organize and start, so just let it happen! You might want to start wearing panty-liners for just in case and carry some midol on you if you start feeling any bad cramps.

  2. If your 16 and haven't gotten your period yet, I would talk to a doctor with your mom, if need be. Whats going on with your body though is that it is trying to start, your period that is, and it can be very irregular at first. How much do you weigh?

  3. its probably normal

i got my period when i was 11, so my period didnt take two weeks to start, but maybe since youre not starting til youre 16 its longer.

if it lasts really long then just ask a doctor.

  4. The little chunks are little clots of blood. It happens. When you first start your period, it usually lasts longer and is very irregular. Starting at 16 though can mean there is something wrong with your uteris though, which can lead to trouble getting pregnant in future. Perhaps you should start getting your papsmere to make sure everything is working okay.

  5. That's normal. Some people start progressively and start later than others. It should probably happen again in a week or two. Also, keep in mind that everyone is different. For some people, it's a sudden on set at age 12.

But I can promise you one thing: you will be grateful that you didn't get it until now. But it is a pain both literally and metaphorically.

  6. it's sooo wierd when you first start.

it may even take up to like,a couple years to get a normal 'cycle' going.

theres nothing wrong with you haha.

  7. Your period is slowly starting.

Your weight might have something to do with the fact your period is having a slow start, but I am not sure of your weight so I can't say for sure.

  8. my cousin got her period when she was 17. but if you think they are serious problems definately go see a doctor :]

  9. your mom is right it is normal! especially if your skinny there isnt much to bleed! ohh and you should also keep hydrated if you have your period it make help! if your really worried talk to your mom and ask to go see a gynecologyist!

  10. you have nothing to worry about i know a few people that didn't get there's till they were 17 one on mu friend not till she was 19 but she was really skinny....and the clotting i am 21 and i got mine wen i was 11 i still get the little blood clots all the time in is perfectly normal if u are really concerned see a doctor but i don't think there is anything to worry about.
