  1. Your queston is a little general, partly cause I don't know what your BA is in. But I wil go with the general conceptnd recomend looking into a staffing or placement company Stay away from any who charge you a fee, but there are plenty of others.

As for the time frame to hear back after a position is posted; forget about it. The national average to hire a non managerial position is 57 days. HR is like a black hole. remember they do not get paid based on filling positions so there is no motivation.

One reputable staffing company is Allegis Group and their family of companies (TEKsystems, Aerotek,  Stephen James).

    Good Luck!

  2. They usually have 1 to 2 weeks working days to consider your resume, some employer even need more time with the amount of resumes they received from many applicants.

You should be confident that you are getting the job, and in the mean time, keep searching for more jobs and keep applying. Until you get one. You have to be patient.

If you have made a phone call and you received positive come back from them, then you should contact them again about your resume to show that you really are interested and enthusiastic.

    Good Luck! :)

  3. I used Amanda sevice and it sucked...it was way over priced and just bad

  4. Calm down. I know it is frustrating because I have been in the same situation as you except that am not a fresh grad. The key to this - Be patient! Stay positive and continue to send out your resume!Sometimes it takes a long time for us to be noticed. To me, employment agents are the worst - you send your resume to them, they call you and ask you a few questions/ or ask you to go and see them, then they tell you that they will notify you in a week's time ---- truth is : they never call you again. They are only good if you want a temp job. Tell you something  - now am stuck at the next stage - went for so many interviews but no job offers. Frustrating too! Anyway, don't give up and you will eventually get there.

  5. Without seeing your resume, it's hard to know. However, you can do a few things to help yourself. 1)Try a job fair, expo. They often have workshops or seminars and will have a professional critique your resume. Plus you can network! You can pay a job coach or consultant-it may not take as much time as you think. 2) You could find a company that may be in your field of expertise. Call up and ask if you could have perhaps 15 minutes of someones time (maybe HR) and do an informational interview. Don't be discouraged-you've got to have a thick skin and look for the 1 "yes"--not all the no's. Good Luck!

  6. I used this resume writing service in my area, this is the email address, (resume.help50@yahoo.com) you should try them, it only cost me $35.00 and I got a great job from this new resume, I never thought about the format that they use but the turn around time was less then 24 hrs.  I would have to say it was the best service I have ever used and it was worth every dime.  Also they let me pay through paypal.
