  1. Congratulations, I was in my mid early twenties  before I got my one and only wisdom tooth.  It had come in crooked and I kept it till I was in my thirties I think...it is no more painful for a wisdom tooth to be pulled than any other tooth unless there is a rare problem.  With the freezing, it is a breeze.

  2. I'm thriteen and the dentist said that I already have my wisdom teeth... She said that she'll pull it out the next time I come (6 months). I don't know what's g happen though... Plust strange thins is that I have two baby teeth that is behind my adult teeth that never fell....

  3. They knock you out, wont feel a thing, will be sore for a week after, take motrin to relieve pain

  4. It's normal to get your wisdom teeth at 19 years old. My mom said she got hers in her early 20's. You should go to your dentist and get their opinion about getting your wisdoms removed. I have to get mine removed because my dentist doesn't want them making my straight teeth crooked. They can give you valium to knock you out, so you don't feel a thing. Also, they give you painkillers after the surgery so you will have no pain. As long as you don't smoke or drink after you get them pulled out, you should be fine. Hope this helps!

  5. That's cool. I got mine out at 25. They never broke the surface of the gum. They were crooked and impacting my other teeth. There may be plenty of room for your new teeth and if you brush them carefully you can keep them forever. That's what nature designed.

You will feel some discomfort while you're "teething". Make sure you have a brush with a small enough head to go way back and don't forget to floss them. The teeth actually coming through isn't really a significant event...it's good. Go to the dentist for your normal cleaning and he'll tell you if you should get them evaluated by a surgeon.

It is medium painful to remove them. I opted for being knocked out and had no pain at all during the surgery or immediatly after. Recovery sucked a bit, but lasted about 2 weeks and I've had worse. My face was bruised but I was OK.

  6. you could see my wisdom teeth on my x-ray but they havent come in yet. And I am 25. If they dont bother you then leave them alone. Its when they do that you will need them taken out.
