So like i'm 14 years old and my doctor just told me i should lose some weight. About 35 pounds. I have been making a lot of changes and i've lost 18 pounds so far. But since its almost winter and i live in minnesota, i won't be able to run anymore. I don't have enough money to go to the gym and most won't let me in anyway. We do have a treadmill but its downstairs in our gross unfinished basement. I just need to know what i should do to keep losing weight. I mean i'm trying to get my dad to move the treadmill to my room, but i don't know if he'll go for it, and if we can't get it up to my room then i really don't know what i'm going to do. i really don't want to gain all that weight back in the winter. Any ideas? (please be nice, i know this is kinda a dumb question)

  1. Good For You Sweetie!

Get a few exercise videos. There are plenty that even teach dance steps. They're a lot of fun and give you a way to keep losing weight while stuck indoors over the winter.

    :)

  2. This is not a dumb question. I think it is great that your are making a change in your life! But you do know that running isn't your only option. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. Then you could also do crunches, sit-ups, push-ups, jog in place with the TV on. Search online for some exercises. Good luck and congratulations!

Unless you are lying and the doctor said nothing about this.
