Help, eye damage from light?

Ok, so i looked at a light bulb directly for about 5 seconds. Can this damage my eye? The bulb was from a reading light that is marked (27 watts). I was about 10 feet away from the light. The light is white, I think maybe fluorescent, not sure. So my question is, can this damage my eye? I'm not seeing anything blurry or anything.

  1. For 5 seconds I don't think so. When most people look up at the sky they will look directly at the sun for that amount of time.

  2. If it was 10 centimeters away for 5 minutes then yes.

But your distance and your time? Nah its chill.
