  1. all bikes are the same some are smaller then others so you should be fine unless its purple haha

  2. Like mirageguitarworks said, more than likely the cockpit    (seatpost to stem) will be a bit smaller, if it fits you well ride the bike. Don't get hung up on a label(womens).

  3. yes it should be fine for now but i whould look into a mens bike there sturdier

  4. try selling it so you can buy a new one

  5. All good bike companies are beginning to embrace the "diamond" shaped frame for both men and women. The difference between them is that the distance between saddle and stem are usually shorter on the same sized womens bike, and the distance from the center of the crank to the ground is sometimes lower.

If the bike fits you well and you are comfortable on it then there are no problems. Ride away!

  6. yes it should be fone for you.  but if it really bothers you try and returning it.  and getting a bike listed as a man bike.  but if it look like a unisex bike. noone sheould care becase it dosent look tottaly like a girls bike.  or you could try and sell it like on ebay or teh news paper.

if it has tassels and pink tires. then you should get ride of it. lol

  7. There are what I refer to as Ladie's bikes and Women's bikes.

Ladies bikes are the traditional low or swooped top tube bikes.    These bikes tend to be more recreational then competitive.

Women's bikes, like stated earlier, are just slightly different to accommodate the physical differences between men and women.  Women tend to have longer legs and shorter torsos--where as men have shorter legs and longer torsos.

Stand next to a friend of the opposite s*x of the same height and compare where the top of your thigh bone is.  A girlfriend of mines, comes into my lovehandles, and yet our shoulders are even.

This difference makes women on  traditional men's bike feel stretched,  like they have to reach out to get to the handlebars.

Some women's models also have shorter reaches for brake and shift levers as well as shorter stems and narrower handlebars.  All in all though, the bike is equivalent to a men's bicycle.

The bike is NOT less sturdy.

    Get out and ride.

  8. sell it on craigslist
