It's a long story, so I'll get right to it. So I've been watching T.V, on the computer, sleeping, and eating junk all summer, and my health is getting worse and worse. Also my dad has been smoking outside at night every five minutes when I am sleeping, and the smoke goes through my window (If I close my window, it gets very hot). I tell him to stop, but I know he won't. So now every time I stand up, I feel like fainting. Each breathe and step I take, my head starts spinning. I CANT take it anymore, so at the beginning of August, I start searching on the internet for ways to get me fit and healthy again. But I can't find any and gave up.

I love to play all kinds of sports every since I was little. Softball, cross country, football... you name it. But since I have developed some breathing problems from secondhand smoke. I had to quit all my activities, but I WANT to continue Basketball.

High School is about to start, and I don't want to be feeling like this. So please I beg of you to give me "free" websites that would help, healthy eating habits. Anything that would help me, please?

  1. Well, try to talk to your dad about your health, that what it's doing to you. Maybe he will start to understand. To get healthy again, go out for a jog, in clean air. You will start to be more healthy that way. Eat fruits and veggies. Eat apples with organic peanut butter, or carrots with ranch. Thats always a good way to lay off the junk food. Find something healthy to eat that is good, so you can lay off the junk food. And instead of leaving your window open, get a fan. I hope I helped! Heres a website that tells you healthy foods and all kinds of stuff......

  2. It sounds like your troubles are rooted in poor circulation. Focus on cardio exercises, which should help you clear up everything. In particular, I would go for jogging, which is free. Here's a nice plan that gives quick results.

  3. Go to the doctor about the secondhand smoke issue.  Tell your dad that it is private.  Tell the doctors about it.

In order to get healthy, do something you like!  Here is a list of things that you can do that will get you healthy.  Do it somewhere where you don't smell ANY secondhand smoke, because it will just make that issue worse.

Now, try to eat more healthy.  Set a goal for yourself when you wake up, like "I am going to have 3 fresh fruits today."  Here are some sites that have fun and healthy recipes that you can make.

Next, think of fun stuff that you can do besides watching tv and going on the computer.  If you want to do a sport again, start off slow.  Don't push yourself too hard, but try to do the sport a few times a day.  You can also go out and buy a few clothes for the sport if you really want to get back into it.

Also, get a fan instead of opening your window.  Trust me, you would rather be a little hot at night than having lung cancer.

  4. www.seventeen.com

should be easy to find from there. its under health and fitness

  5. You either have developed asthma, which is very treatable, or you are worrying way too much about the effects of second hand smoke.  Bring it up to the school nurse.

  6. i've been doing the same all summer. As soon as you go back to school i'm sure that you will start to become more active, P.E ect..

but your not fat at all, so i wouldnt worry about that ,

  7. dont spend so much time around people who smoke,go outside breath clean air. go run some minutes a day or maybe twice, three times a day, start with short distance and train everyday. sorry i dont know any websites

  8. Possibly try iron supplements.  You sound anemic.
