1.how can i remove viruses in my laptop for free?

i have Windows Vista Home Premium.

2. Does having an ebay account & such make you more attractive to viruses, cookies & the like?

3. Why exactly is firefox better than Internet explorer?

3. Mozilla Firefox is a faster, stable, more secure and most importantly SAFER than IE7. It has all sorts of customisations too if you are ever bored! And it can be used by simpletons like yourself.

2. Yes, if you use your computer for Banking and such then you will be more likely to be targeted because there's money involved.

3. Firefox is WAY better than Internet Explorer, its safer, faster and you can customize it, it has it's own built in virus scanner too!

I have used AVG Anti Virus, Zone Alarm Firewall, Spy-bot Search and Destroy and Ad Aware both spyware killers for years. They are all free for personal use and I have had no trouble with Viruses Trojans Hackers etc. I have just upgraded to AVG free 8.0 and all seems good so far. Zone Alarm allows a lot of personal configuration unlike the Windows Firewall. They can all be downloaded from http://www.download.com/ I also use Windows Defender from the Microsoft site. It is safe to use two anti-spy products but never use more than one A/V as it can cause conflicts. You should run A/V and anti spy weekly. Hope this helps

Use Bitdefender online antivirus scan.....or use Windows Live One care online scan....(if the windows is genuine).....to get rid of any virus for free.....make sure you use internet explorer to perform the scan online.....use google to search for any other free online antivirus scanning websites....if you are looking for free ones go to filehippo.com and download any free antivrus from there.......
