i have a red eared slider in a 50 gallon tank, he is 3 inches long. He has everything, a basking lamp, uvb light, basking place, heater, filter, etc. Just today i noticed he had light
red/orange on the outher lining of his mouth, directly on his mouth. Is this the first sign of early mouth rot? He hasent eaten in a week, but i thought that was only we moved a week ago into new apts, and it was because of stress. He seems to be healthy otherwise, and i saw him basking yersterday. Why is his mouth orange? What could it be, and how can i reverse it?
