1. There are a lot of things that can give you cancer besides an energy drink (if that is even true). There's been new studies that show talking on your cell phone will give cancer. Being out in the sun all the time without proper protection can give you cancer.

So drink whatever you want. Eat whatever you want..We will all die with cancer since thats what studies are starting to find.. :s (and I have nothing to back this up..I am just blabbing)

  2. It all depends on you and how much you drink them. It says on the can that you should not consume more than three of them a day. They are bad and sometimes dangerous but if you maintain it and make sure you dont overdrink them you should be fine..but like I said it all depends on you and how you deal with caffeine

  3. you might want to lay down on them for a little while.

    don't drink as many.

try one a day and see how you feel.

    how about that?

they are addicting...like cigarettes.hard to quit.

my teachers told me that it is bad to have those kind of addictions.

and i don't think it causes cancer....but i am not quite sure.

it does cause other things though.

too much caffeine is NOT good for you.

is that enough information for you?

    ha ha ha. =]

  4. Hey i would summarize this but here is the truth about any energy drink.......They are meant to give you energy in anything your going to do but can be unhealthy like make you addicted to them. Well here are the facts to Monsters. Hope I helped.

  5. if i were you i would drink water bc thats what the indians drank and they had a little fish babies in it to energize them its the same thing as a munster but with baby fishies fish have protein and i doubt youll shake with them

  6. Well energy drinks are not desitned for kids and early teens. Also you should not be having more than 2 energy drinks a day. Even the healthy energy drink companies will recommend against having more than 2. The larger cans have 2 or 3 servings in them. So if you had 3 cans then you had way more than you should, especially for your age. I can understand why you are shaking really badly.

Energy drinks are basically suped up sodas. They have much more sugar and caffeine than a soda does and many have questionable ingredients such as taurine and guarana.

In moderation Monster will not be quite so horrible as is lead to believe. That means one a day. Of course this is also very true if you are faily healthy to start with and balance out your diet even if it includes supplementation.

Caffeine dehydrates and depletes calcium. The dehydration causes us to become tired and lethargic. It is our body's way to keep us from overworking and overheating. This means that the crash we would get from the sugar and caffeine leaving our system is greatly intensified. That much caffeine will also cause headaches, sleeping problems, jittery and shaking fits on a daily basis. Longer term use of too much caffeine will affect the mind, kidneys, heart and more.

Plus the amount of calories you are taking in can't be great. However since you are not able to eat then maybe the calories are balancing out. However the nutrition levels are not balaced so this is not healthy. I sure hope you supplement with a real high quality multi vitamin/mineral.

Water can increase our energy and motabolism by 3%. We need 1 ounce for every 2 pounds of body weight and 8 more ounces for every 20 minutes of exercise. If you feel tired drink 2 glasses of water. If after 15 minutes you feel better then you were only dehydrated. This is usually the case. If you are still tired then it may be worth having an energy drink. Since caffeine dehydrates have a glass of water within 15 - 30 minute of having a caffeinated drink. I think you will find that with proper hydration you may not need as many energy drinks.

If you do this then you will reduce the calories you take in and start to eat normaly again. You should save money rather than having to buy so many Monsters. It will improve the shaking and I think you will find you may sleep better too.

  7. They are fine (except for a lot of caffeine which isn't really good for you and is addicting) I drink them all of the time and I am as healthy as a horse. Try drinking a big glass of water after your first can it will intensify the effects so you don't have to drink so many.

P.S. oh yeah, try the blue ones without sugar they are great! and you wont get that blood sugar spike
