Help, my Oakley prescription glasses hurt my ears?

They are very tight on my ears. They are a metal frame. Can all frames be loosened, even if they are metal?

  1. Absolutely.  Just take them back to where you got them and ask for an adjustment.  Most places offer free adjustments if you purchased the glasses there.

  2. My guess is you didn't buy them from an optical shop. That is why Sunglass huts and the like are not great for buying sunglasses. They know nothing about them and cannot adjust them. Most optical shops will adjust your eyeglasses for free, just stop in somewhere. (It is always polite to ask if you owe something though when done. Most places won't charge, but it is wrong to assume they work for free.)

  3. Metal frames are easier to adjust than plastic frames, take them to your optician and let us work our magic, we don't want you in pain!

  4. YES...take them back to the dispensing Optician. The adjustment shouldn't take more than a few minutes
