Help, my cat has been throwing up a lot lately??

Question

It's white and kind of foamy, with no food or anything in it. (Yuck, I know.) Is it just a hairball or could it be something else?

Oh, and it's not a lot at once, just about the size of a quarter, sometimes less, sometimes a little bit more.

I'd really appreciate it if you could help me in any way!!

It sounds like hairballs. My 2 and half years long-haired cat have similar symptoms 2 months ago. I bought Laxatone Tuna Flavored. It really worked. Laxatone is a lubicant that use to eliminate and prevent hairballs. My cat does not like the taste. The easiest way is to place a small amount on his nose and ta- raaa he will l**k to clean it!

Get your cat to the vet at once it could be seriously ill!  It isn't a hairball, or you would see a hairball. Good luck!!

It sounds like hair balls but to err on the side of caution you may want to take your cat to the vet just in case it's more serious than that.

my cat had that  problem,i think,when hes got a hairball he urges on it.But the hairball doesn't come up.What hes throwing up is digestive food in his stomach from all that urging.What ive done is got a hairball cat food,and so far its working
