Question:

Help, my computer is going haywire? Internet Explorer populates the address field with random c**p!?

I have a dial-up isp and have to open IE in a separate window to browse. About 50% of the time, when I start IE and type in a URL, it starts populating the address field with other sites URLs, but they're "stacked" on top of the address I typed in and so I end up with three or four addresses and naturally this leads me to the "page not found" and I typically have to restart my pc. Simply closing IE and restarting it doesn't work. Anyone who's had a similar experience and knows how to fix it, please answer, your help is much appreciated, and of course you get BA. Thanks in advance.

  1. Your browser has been hijacked (malware, kind of like a virus).  I would try a reputable spyware remover.  The link below is an example.
