so my husband has been getting dizzy spells. it started about 4 days ago. when ever he would change positions while sleeping, he would get severely dizzy. now its happening during the day.

i'm getting him in to see the doctor this week, but i'm still worried. any ideas

he's 29, no major changes in our life, he's a calm fun guy. drinks plenty of water and has no other apparent symptoms..

he's just thinking he's equilibrium is off, and needs his ears cleaned well.. i don't know if i buy that

  1. This symptom could be caused by a variety of problems.  Blood Pressure changes, Ear infection,  beginning of diabetes  changes in heart beat

It could be serious or it could be nothing at all. Thank goodness he seeing his physician.

  2. He may be dead right. An inner ear disorder may cause Vertigo. Go on line and check it out. Dr's usully treat it with a drug called  Antivert.

  3. Sounds like he might have an inner ear infection. I had one once and ignored it until I started falling down when I tried to walk. It totally messes with you balance. Make him go to the doc, that doesn't go away on it's own and your eardrum can rupture. There's only one other thing I can think of that it might be : low blood sugar. He might want to ask the doc about that too if his ears are clear. Good luck and best wishes.
