  1. it depends on how many miligrams they were.  I took 3 30mg pills before, I was up for three days but other than that I was fine.  He probably will be awake all night, you should give him a project to work on.

  2. have him drink lots of fluids and food....

3 pills isnt a huge dosage, assuming one pill was less than 20mg

def watch his heart rate, that is a good indication of how stongly it is affecting him

I got addicted to adderall and it almost ruined my life. id strongly reconsider whatever you're giving him, particularly if it hasn't been a a complete 180 in his academics...

  3. i really would take him to the e.r right away . you never know , and to be safe . good luck and keep the pills up very high  or hide them .

  4. If you are really nervous, take him to the ER!

Good luck and lock up that medicine form now on.

  5. why were the pills in the reach of an 8 year old child? were you trusting him to take  his own? by himself? thats asking for trouble. even if he sneaked  into them, they should NOT have been within his reach.do as the dr said and keep an eye on him, like you should have been doing BEFORE it happened.

  6. it should be ok.  he'll either get really hyper or sleepy.  it depends on how the effect him.  have him drink lots of water or even clean the house.  it'll get his body going and get it out of his system faster.  he will be alright.

  7. 3 pills isn't an overdose. Just listen to the doctor. He didn't spend 10-12 years in school to tell you the wrong things and risk losing his license

  8. Take him to the ER i did that when i was twelve by accident and it wasn't even a high dose and my vision went black and it was like i was fating away.

Make him drink and eat as much as he can if you can't get him to a ER and don't let him fall asleep.

  9. call your family docter first to see what you should do.

  10. If you're really concerned, take him to the hospital or call poison control. Also, an 8 yr. old shouldn't have access to medications. If he can open child proof caps, keep it locked up!

  11. Don't worry

i took those before for a high

it will just make him hyper or real tired

  12. I think he will be OK. my 12 year old ODd on his meds back in may and he just was really tired for a day or so. he was at a friends house and the mom forgot to give him his meds on a saturday...all day. so before he came home after breakfast on sunday he took 2 days worth of pills: 60mg of vyvanse, 3mg of tenex, and 3 mg of risperdal. He slept all after noon on sunday then went to bed early and slept all night. By monday morning he was OK.

Some of us actually have faith in our children once they get to be a certain age. Despite thier disabilities they are able to comprehend what they are told...when they listen to us. If this has not happened before she would have no reason to think that he would take too many, or to lock up his meds. I keep my son's meds down on the counter to remind him to take them...he is learning personal responsibility.

  13. 3 isnt an overdose   call poison control if you want to feel better  he will be fine but very calm

  14. Best bet is to make him eat a good amount of bread and milk w. butter...those wil absorb as much as possible of the pill and get it thru his system faster.  But i totally suggest if you are that worried take him to a stat care or er...they will check him over :)

  15. Call poison control.  Or take him to the hospital to have his stomach pumped

  16. If you feel that it is an emergency take him to the hospital

emergency room.Since I don't know what the dosage of

each pill is or the childs weight and height and other health factors I can't say for shure how it will effect your child.

It is a good rule of thumb to watch your child. That goes for

now and for all other times.Your the parent and your child is

your responsibility. If he overdosed on drugs who's at fault?

  17. my nephew took his next tablet too early on the weekend,it just knocked him out ,he slept well for once, but three is quite a lot, maybe go to a & e to check

  18. How the h**l did he get hold of the pills to begin with?  Why aren't they kept where he can't get to them?

  19. They shouldn't have been in his reach!!
