Help, my toe is turning black?

Question

Three days ago I had an ingrown toenail removed. The doctor not only cut out the outside of my big toenail he cauterized the nail bed to hopefully detour my nail growing back. I took my bandage off yesterday and this morning I noticed that it had started to turn black. This hurts worse than any other toe nail I've had cut out and it constantly throbs and now tonight almost half of my toe and toe nail is black and swollen. My regular doctor won't be back until sometime tomorrow and I would like to know what this may be.

err. its either a black and blue mark or there is no blood there and ur gonna have to get ur toe cut off i think not to get u scared or anything.... srry... get a new docter. lolz...
