Help, obsessed trying to find work at home!

Question

Starting week seven, trying to find work at home. I live in a rural area, so gas any where is a problem. I don't like sales, I don't want a business, I don't have unlimited long distance and Project Payday is not for me. I just want to work quietly in my home around the needs of my family and animals. I am dependable, trustworthy and honest. (of course everyone is, right?) Any way, this pretty much describes data entry, what a joke! I have been scammed of course. Does anyone have any suggestions?

If you have the time and cash, I would suggest obtaining at least an Associate's Degree in computer science (programming specifically).  Many software design firms subcontract to or hire work-at-home programmers.  Unfortunately, all the talk about work from your computer is exactly what you have found - talk or scams.  However, people with good and identifiable skills can find work via telecommuting.

would you be interested in writing?

You could setup a blog or website, this is completely free. Once you have added some good content, you can start to earn money from advertising. I know you wont make a huge income from this, but it would get you started working from home.

Pick a topic which you are very interested in, and write a piece on that everyday.

I've given step by step instructions on how to create a website for free, and then add adverts to it so you can start generating income.

I've been doing some work with www.elance.com the past week, all the work is home based, data entry, transcription etc. The only thing is you're competing against people from countries where the hourly rate of pay is a lot lower, so not sure if it would be worth it for you.

Its been updated today to include some Craft type jobs which can be done from home, mainly re-distribution, but it possible to make good money from it if you work hard.

So many online jobs are out there. In fact, to do any online job, you need not want to invest anything. Make sure, you dont pay anything to get jobs online. It is just that need to pick the one that suits you the best. I hope this helps you and I believe you will find the online job that you love the most. Thanks

I know your situation. Some people don't have the money or the time to go back to school.

When my family came to America, they didn't have any luck in finding a job, since they didn't have a car, or anything. My parents didn't have a high school diploma, since they never graduate from middle school, back in their homeland. My parents lived in a small village. But as time goes by, my mom started working as a maid and a care giver. My dad started his landscape business, which he have to go back to school and get a cerficate and a business license for it.

What you can do is:

1) Care giver.

2) Baby sitter.

3) Maid.

4) Be a farmer. (Both of my parents where an farmer back in their homeland. My mom makes good money by selling her pigs, goats, chickens, and etc to feed her family. You can start a business by selling your farm animals. Once your business is doing well, you can then call some companies that want to buy your farm animals)

5) Be a school tutor at your place.

6) Grave yard watcher.

7) Get a job as a cashier/sale assisociate at your nearest walking distance location.
