Help, please how to get out from a group that I never register. Too much e_mail in my box.?

Haitianpolitics, it's a real group. But I am not a member of the group, I never register for.

Why I am still receiving all those e_mail coming from member of this group. My box is always full with those e_mail, help me please to get out.

It seems that in one way or another you became a member of that group. Here is how you can unsubscribe from a Yahoo Group:

1.Try to unsubscribe through:

2. If this doesn't work out, send an e-mail to the group owner telling him/her to stop mailing you. ([e-mail])

If these still didn't work for you try the following options:

3. Block the address(es) or arrange your preferences so that they are sent to your bulk/spam folder.

go to this link http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups click edit my groups on the top left- locate group (if there's more than one) under the last column Leave Group, check that small box - click save changes

try logging onto the group and look for edit memebrship top middle of the page, near title- scroll next page bottom right click Leave Group- next page confirm by clicking Leave

if you cant see the group from there you'll have to use this e-mail method, but I'd attempt to go no mail setting first

It sounds like the group owner or moderator added you to that group without your permission.

It is against Yahoo Groups Guidelines for a group owner to do this. Please refer to Item #5 of the guidelines. Here is the link to Group Guidelines http://groups.yahoo.com/local/guidelines...

You can report that group owner for adding you to his/her group by using the Yahoo Groups Abuse Form http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

If you plan to report the group owner, please do not leave the group until Yahoo staff has had a chance to check out your complaint.

They will advise you on when to unsubscribe from the group.

If you do not plan to report the group owner, you can unsubscribe from the group email list by going to your "My Groups" page.  http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups

Click on "Edit My Groups" near top of page.

Locate that group's name. In the last column titled "Leave Group", click on the blank square to place a checkmark in it.

Click on the blue "Save Changes" button near the right top or bottom of page.  This will remove you from the group's email list instantly.

You might continue to receive email messages from that group for a short time and then they will stop coming.
