I need a poem topic so I can write a poem. Any good ideas out there?

it depends on the type of emotion u want to express:

angry/sad- hardest time in your life

happy- most fun time in your life

and so on. write about what u know b/c it will be the most accurate which is y i say "...time of your life" for example if u want to write about the struggles of anorexia, but u've not/have never struggled with it then the poem wont b great no matter how many stories you hear. the reason for that is u wont know how they feel. good poetry, in my idea, is filled with emotion. so write about yours i guarentee it'll make the poems amazing. pick an emotion, then pick a time u felt that emotion the strongest and write until your hearts content

1. Something in nature

2. Something in life that seems to be a mystery

3. One of your favorite memories

4. Some event you went through that you feel has had an effect on your life, the way you think, or something like that

5. A random topic that is just in your head

I agree that lost love is a very quick and intersting topic to write about, but i when i don't have any ideas about what i want to write about, i just make up good quote and words that i want to put in my poem, and then i would slowly arrange it till it sound nice and makes sense.It really help me a lot. Hope it will help you too.  also Way to go...poem is a way to express everything...!!!
