Question:

Help, por favor?

I'm on the varsity volleyball team at my high school, and our gym doesn't have any air conditioning, and I always seem to be the one that sweats the most, or whatever. And everytime I dig the ball, there's this sweat streak left on the floor, and my other teammates slip in it and it's totally mortifying! (I should mention that this is in Florida during summer conditioning) And then they make fun of me for it, and I try to laugh it off and stuff, but it really hurts. Does anyone have any advice? It's not like I can just stop sweating, well, unless I don't ever drink water again, but that's out of the question. Anyways, advice?

  2. get some good deodorant they have some that arent like walmart there special for people who over sweat

  3. their just jelous!!! :) try the degree clinical strength deodorant, or have a small hand towel handy, i do the same thing

  4. Bring a towel to practice.

    Everyone sweats!

Tell your teammates to look at national volleyball games on T.V.  They always have a couple towel people who run out on the floor after every point when someone dives.

In high school, I had a lot of my team who brought towels to practices and games, who wiped their face/arms after they got off court.

  5. omg! Don't worry because the same thing happens to me.  I am always the first one to sweat and always leaving puddles around.  Once, i had a bun in my hair and it was sooo hott and i squeezed the bun and a puddle was dripping off my hair.  Everyone thought it was disgusting and we were laughing about it.  Don't worry about it.  Just keep doing what your doing in laughing it off because it happens to all of us (well us more than others!) and when it happens to them, just laugh at them like they do to you.  Once in a while, you can go to the bathroom and  wipe of some of the sweat.  Good Luck!

  6. try a lotta deoderant.

you can also try bringing a towel to practice.

  7. bring a sweat towel and wipe off your sweat during breaks. bring a fan to practice my whole team brings a fan for the first couple weeks of practice!

  8. well by sweating ur showing that ur practicing hard, which is good! and as 4 ur team mates u should just ignore them. and maybe u could talk ur skool into getting air conditioning.
