Help, pre-teens and teens!!!

Question

I'm thirteen years old (going on 14) and have had some interesting expierences and i learned a lot. i was considering writing a book, to send to publishers. i want to share my lessons with other kids my age and adults try to write about kids but who is actually better to write a book about kids? anyway, my book wold be about a girl who is convinced she's in love with this boy but he doesn't love her and everything thats happened along the way. my question is, would you buy a book about this. it would be not a difficult read but at a young teens level but a fun book to read. it wouldn't be like my life exactly but similar i would change names, places, etc. and other things would be changed but would you buy this book? i haven't come up with any titles yet but some are: shadow, defy, perfect, etc.

I may read something like that. I read lots of those "young teen" books, and I love either drama, or something really deep, and that sounds pretty interesting. I'd probably read it. Plus, I totally agree - I mean, who can write a book about teens better than a teen themselves? I wanted to do the same thing, but if you can realy follow through with this, go for it. It's a great accomplishment to make to publish a book at 14.

I'm 12 and this book sounds interresting! I would probably buy it. I like books about you know growing up and changing. Like a book called 12 which is about a girl who turns 12. She is going through alot of changes. You can look it up and amazon.com. Anyways but arent you kinda young to be writing a book? I mean i've tried a million times and i couldn't countinue. I had to deal with school and homework. Me and my sister once tried to write a book in 2 weeks. But no! It takes time. You should start by writing a pretty long book and not getting it published until your about 16-19 years! Sorry i'm crashing your dreams but thats what i think! My mom wrote a book and she started writing it at 9 years old and didnt get it published until this very year. She is starting on a new one too! Its called you'll never be ready until you do it! By Doris Johnson please look it up on amazon. Its about a girl who finds herself in love and then gets abused. Its pretty sad if you cant take the emotion then don't!

No, Sorry But I don`t really like Romantics. There`s just SO many Writers that write SO many Romantic Books that they all seem the same to me. Sorry Again. I REALLY like Fiction, like Harry Potter or the Narnia Chronicles. Or Spiderwick!  Good Luck with your Book though!!  - Chase.

I would maybe read a story like that, but I don't know.  For most young teens it's fine, but I like horror stories and mysteries better than romance stories or whatever yours is.

honestly i wouldnt read something like that. sorry. its just that me and my friends are going through that now and i dont think i would want to read about someone elses experience if im having my own.

and also they are already tons of books like that.

I'm 14 and considering on writing and publishing my own book. A lot of preteens are aspired to write books.

You are definitely inspired to write a book because you're in love but okay this is just my opinion you can ignore it if you want. The only reason why you are writing a book is because you are in love, and that is somewhat common and readers would not take much interest since they have their own love story.
