Help, think i have ringworm and am breastfeeding!?

i think i have ringworm, yes it does form a circle. Its on my left breast. Is it safe to keep breastfeeding? I cant afford to visit the doctors. Are there any cheap creams i can buy to help clear this?

  1.    You can go to the local free clinic. Call the local WIC office and they can help you, most likely for free.


  2. Call a pharmacist or go to your local drug store and ask the pharmacist there. They should be able to tell you something over the counter to treat it that would be safe for your baby. Anything antifungal will treat ringworm, like something to treat athelete's foot. Your baby's doctor might also have an answer if you call their office.

    Since ringworm is highly contagious, I would confirm with your doctor before continuing to breast feed. I came across this natural home remedy that cures ringworm in less than 1 week. Price $39.97, probably much less than the expensive creams that don't work.

  5. Ringworm is a fungal infection so if you get the same stuff you get for like Athletes foot/Jock Itch then it usually clears it up in a few days.
