Sorry, but not anything after  4 novels is a Saga. A saga is an ancient icelandic poem detailing the events of a hero, a long book(s) that follow generations, or a very long book or set of books that follow the exploits of a hero.

A tetralogy is a compound work that is made up of four (numerical prefix tetra-) distinct works.

From Greek words tetra- "four" and "logos" - word, speech, saying.

The name comes from the Attic theater, where tetralogies were meant to be played in one sitting at the Dionysia. In more recent times, Shakespeare wrote two tetralogies, the first consisting of the three Henry VI plays and Richard III, and the second consisting of Richard II, the two Henry IV plays, and Henry V. Richard Wagner's "Der Ring der Nibelungen" - the 'Ring Cycle' - is also referred to as a tetralogy.

the other terms used are "quadrilogy", "quartet" and "legacy."

the classic Literary theory introduces the term "tetralogy", others are used more as public convention for the modern reader. Tetralogy considers to be more "correct" term than the others, since it follows the previous naming patterns, using Greek words to create a term: trilogy - from "three" and "words", pentalogy - pente - five, + logos and so on.

Note that the work of two series will be called diptych - from Greek diptychos, "folded, doubled".

It would be a quartet although conventionally anything after 4 is called a saga.

The way I see it:

1 book = a book

2 books = a book and a sequel

3 books = a trilogy

4 or more books = a series

But, if you want to use prefixes, you first have to decide if you want to use Greek or Latin, then find out the right number.
