Help, with video camera effect!!!?

Question

Why when we capture a display such as capturing a scence from a tv show, capturing a video from the computer or capturing a display from a lcd screen, the recorded video in the video camera, shows the captured display of the tv scence, lcd display or computer display blinkings and shaking?

i don't know why, but cameras have a hard time recording video screens, i have been able to record an image fine of a rear projection tv.
