  1. There are things to consider that determine how I consider obstacles in various jobs.

I once had a job that I thought was security, a great future if I worked really hard . . . .  I did well, it was boring, but I thought I should hang in there for the long haul.  One day, my supervisor was excited because she was due for a raise! She had been there over 10 years, I had been there 7 months.  After her raise, she was making less than a dollar more than I was.  She had more responsibility, a title, but that will not buy you much at the grocery store.

It was a big banking corperation.

I found another job before leaving.   I hated the new job.  It did pay a little more.  My boss would yell at me until I cried.  i didn't think I could stand anymore.  I would apologize, and hold back the tears and he would keep on until he made me break down and cry.  I wanted to quit so bad, but I decided to stay.  It was going to be my final effort to make this work.

I gave it all I had, and I got a raise.  I learned all about things there, worked harder, knew more.  In about 3 months, I got another raise.  This was a job with a future.   It was worth alot of difficult challenges.   Other employees came and went.  They got fired, quit because they didn't understand that at this job, getting discouraged and becoming more afraid to learn for fear of s******g up was noticed.  Trying harder and harder while things were bad was also noticed.

Alot of time went by and the pay increased at least 5 times as much as it was when i started.  I screwed up at times, but one thing that my boss told me at the time was, "If you don't do anything, you can't s***w up.  If you're working and doing alot then you are probably going to s***w up from time to time."

If the job is worth it, keep on even when you encounter the most challenging experience.   If you see otherwise, then find a better job.  If you work hard, use parts of your brain that you didn't even know you had!! then the right employer is going to want to keep you . . even through your most challenging experiences.

I learned so much from this employer.  He showed me how to be an employee that was needed.  NEEDED BIG TIME!!!!

    Good luck!

  2. ah that damned question i hate it! Just think of a time when you were really busy/had a complaint from a customer or had a customer shouting at you because they werent happy. say you spoke to them in a good manner and didnt raise your voice etc etc and resolved the matter in a calm and professional way.

  3. I quit as well :)

  4. Well, I used to work in a cafe.

My boss started being a pig, and he always threatened to fire me. The cafe spreads to an outside area, so I would busy myself with clearing tables there whilst taking a few breaths so i wouldnt cry in front of him. It was so hard not to scream and cry in his face. But i managed to keep composed and polite, and take his abuse on board. Then I quit lol. professionally.

  5. U R ASKING FOR MY PREVIOUS JOB! LET ME TELL U ABOUT MY ALL PREVIOUS JOBS. I STARTED WORKING WHEN I WAS 15 YRS OLD AND NOW I AM IN +50s. I STARTED MY CARRIER AS A GATEKEEPER AND NOW I AM A HEAD OF THE REGULATORY DEPARTMENT IN A REPUTED MULTINATIONAL PHARMACOLOGICAL COMPANY. THE SECRET IS ONLY THAT THAT I CONTINUOUSLY WORKED TO IMPROVE MYSELF AND NEVER MADE ANY COMPROMISE WITH MY BOSSES. I ALWAYS KEEP MY DUTIES IN ONE POCKET AND RESIGNATION IN ANOTHER OF MY TROUSERS. IN MY LAST JOB I SIMPLY PRODUCED MY RESIGNATION INSTEAD OF DISCUSS ANY MATTER. AND STILL I AM READY TO DO SAME THING AT MY NEW JOB.

MY ADVICE ONE SHOULD KNOW HIS OWN MARKET VALUE AND SHOULD NOT BOTHER ABOUT HIS BOSS'S VALUE. BOSS IS ALWAYS LIAR BUT HE WILL NEVER ACCEPT. HE WILL FORCE YOU TO BE GUILTY FOR HIM. BOSS MAY BE FAILURE AT ANY TIME, BUT U HAV TO LIVE. ALWAYS FIND ALTERNATIONS.
